BuzzStop Setup Wizard
Real-time bus arrival information and alarm
so that you never miss your bus again.
Before you begin, check that you have the following ready:
- BuzzStop device
- USB Type-C to Type-C Cable (Provided)
- Wi-Fi network name and password
*Setup time: Approximately 3-5 minutes
Step 1: Connect Your Device
BuzzStop needs to be connected to your computer to configure it. Follow these steps:
- Connect BuzzStop to your computer using the provided USB cable.
- Click on the "Connect Device" button.
- Select "USB JTAG/Serial debug unit (COM
)" from the dropdown menu.
🔧 Connection Troubleshooting
If connection fails, try these steps:
- Make sure you are using the provided USB cable
- Check if your browser has the required permissions to access the serial port.
- For chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/12576972?hl=en
- For edge: No known additional permissions required
- For safari: https://support.apple.com/en-sg/HT201372
- Try unplugging and reconnecting the USB cable
- Check if your device drivers are properly installed
- Try using a different USB port or cable
- Make sure you're using a supported browser (Chrome, Edge, or Opera)
Step 2: Wi-Fi Configuration
BuzzStop needs Wi-Fi to fetch real-time bus arrival data. Configure your network settings below.
WiFi Already Connected

Your device needs WiFi configuration to fetch real-time bus arrival data.
Step 3: Time Settings
BuzzStop displays the time on its screen. Choose your time settings.
Step 4: Bus Stop Selection
Choose one bus stop that BuzzStop will display live arrivals for. Click on a bus stop from the list below to select it.

Enter a postal code above or use your current location to find nearby bus stops.
How long does it take for you to get to your bus stop?
Step 5: Configure Smart Alerts
BuzzStop can buzz when a specific bus is approaching. Set alerts for your regular routes.
